AS-12 Approach Lighting System

DESCRIPTION

Approach lighting system is a navigation light array extending outward from the runway threshold and laid out along the extended runway centerline. It is used under low-visibility conditions such as nighttime and fog to provide visual reference for aircraft in the final approach phase. Working with the ILS (Instrument Landing System), it helps pilots switch from instrument flight to visual landing, and judge direction, distance and aircraft roll attitude.

Technical Features

  • Light intensity and light color meet the requirements.
  • It adopts precise optical control with high light utilization rate, high brightness and outstanding optical performance.
  • The luminaire features an attractive overall shape, good heat dissipation performance and reasonable design.
  • The luminaire adopts a split structure, and the lamp body is of fully enclosed structure, which reduces the ingress of impurities and moisture into the lamp, extends the service life of optical components of the luminaire and cuts down maintenance times.
  • The main body of the luminaire is made of aluminum alloy, and fasteners are made of stainless steel, delivering excellent corrosion resistance.
  • Easily disassembled parts are precisely machined after heat treatment for stable and reliable performance.
  • High-precision machine tool processing is applied to guarantee the all-round quality and precision of the luminaire.
